Red Grouper Are in Season? Right?

Headed down to Carrabelle after work and fishing tomorrow. Was planning on doing some Snapper scoping for the tourney on June 1. Probably stop at a tower or two and let the crew catch some AJ's then off to some deep water trolling.

It just dawned on me that we may be able to keep a couple Red Grouper if we stumble upon them. Checked FWC and it appears that you can keep 4 Red Group's per person. Is this correct?

Yes,
4 per person in federal or state waters. Gag is open also. 2 per person 4 grouper aggregate.

Gag is not open in federal waters though. Just state I believe.

Correct, grab the gags on way back in Capt. if you don't fill the bag with Reds. And don't forget to get the AJ while you can they won't be in season on June 1st.
