Re: Steinhatchee 3-11

It was 11:00am before we could get out at spring warrior. We caught a bunch of shorts and rat reds with only a few keeper trout mixed in.

Re: Live shrimp

We'll be putting in around low tide so I'm not too worried about fiddlers. We can gather some up at the ramp. I have only fished offshore for the past few years but it was hard to find live shrimp in the few years before that.

Ochlockonee Bay

Looks like the wind is finally going to lay down and so I'll be headed to Ochlockonee Bay this weekend. I haven't fished it in a couple of years so I'm not sure if my old spots are still productive. Any pointers from folks who have fished it lately would be appreciated. I used to catch huge black ...

6/12-6/13 Panacea

Headed down to Panacea last friday and Saturday. The wind was kicking and made for some tough fishing. We fished Friday from around 2pm till dark and only managed to put two Spanish in the boat. They were in the bay by the bridge hitting the bait fish pretty hard but they weren't hitting our yo-zuri ...

Flies for spanish. Do I need wire?

I'm pretty new to fly fishing and haven't done any saltwater yet. I'll be in Panacea next weekend and I'm bringing my fly gear with me. I've got some clausers and some poppers on the way. The spanish are supposed to be thick in the bay now so what fun it would be to hang a few of those. My question ...
