Thanks for all of your responses. I'm going to try to get out there Sunday AM. I'm not super familiar with the area yet, what's the best way to get to mud cove? I live in Tallahassee and usually go out from the light house. Come to think of it I don't even know where mud cove is but.... have boat ...

I've never been shrimping but a buddy of mine mentioned to me that he thought they were running this time of the year. BTW I caught a 33" Cobia yesterday, it made an otherwise rough day of fishing quite tolerable!

Chum Churn?

So after we had given up on catching any Red's this past Sun. we decided to try some sharks. We caught one and had several cut our pin fish in half, so before i go back the next time i will be investing in some stinger rigs but I also thought about investing in a "chum churn."

Have any of you used ...

Everywhere I saw that 20 yards of the grass line was about 2 feet deep. Does it get any deeper the further south or east you go along the shore line?
