Kingfish Frenzy in Steinhatchee

Seawater temperatures have fallen off considerably, 5-8 degrees depending on what time of day you take a reading. Most fishermen don't pay much attention to changes in water temperature, but the fish are aware on each degree change. The cooling waters have prompted kingfish to start migrating south ...

I take individual reservations, some people can't get a whole group, so individuals book for $125 a person. I have gone out with one or 5. It is usually a fun day, because the average is 2 people, it's fun and we do some scouting, etc. Call the wife if you decide to go, she can work things out for ...

Looking forward to the fall and winter bite. Too many shorts!

Tight ...

Steinhtachee Fishing is hot as temperature subside

The dog days of summer appear to be coming to a close judging by the fish activity. Steve Rassel was in a froth of feeding mackerel yesterday when one of his fishermen ...

On Thursday, the forecast for the weekend was great for anything one wanted to do except boating and fishing. I got on the phone to forewarn folks that fishing may be a bust due to weather. They told me they were coming anyway even if just to hangout and grill steaks and burgers on the holiday ...
