Oil wells near the Dead Lakes, Apalachicola/Chipola Rivers
Anyone concerned about six exploratory oil wells on four pads in Calhoun County, near the Dead Lakes, Apalachicola River and Chipola River? https://www.mypanhandle.com/news/florida-d-e-p-approves-exploratory-oil-drilling-permits-in-apalachicola-river-basin-in-calhoun-county/amp/?fbclid=IwAR3Se7tLoxw...

St Marks Fishing Report
I'm looking for info on what's biting and where to find it near the St Mark's Lighthouse. I have been traveling Western NC fly fishing and would like to find Mackerel if they are nearby.
Thanks for any recommendations,
John

Re: fishing carrabelle
Curious if trout & reds will follow the same pattern that you explained in the St Mark's and East Rivers?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Tandem Yak?
I thought about this question for a long time and decided on 2 OK Prowlers. Both my sons and my wife like the freedom of navigating and being the captian of their own boat. Fishing from 2 kayaks lets us search a larger area and once one of us find the fish, a walkie-talkie gets us back together agai...

Re: St Marks Lighthouse

St Marks Lighthouse
I am looking at fishing the St Marks Lighthouse area with my son in our trident prowler kayaks on April 8th. The tides look inviting for the early afternoon and wondered if anyone else has had any success yet and where I might point my son to find some action. If this is not the best venue, please t...

Re: The BP oil rig
Where is the leadership in our leaders? 210,000 gallons of Louisiana crude oil per day is heading for the beaches of the Gulf coast from Louisiana to Florida in what many consider the worse environmental disaster in history and the Tallahassee Democrat did not even consider this breaking news until ...
