Re: Redfish 10/13
I was fortunate to have the same experience this week as well at Econfina, pulled up to a spot by an oyster bar that I have never fished before and within a few seconds of my first cast, a 24" Red hit and the fight was on. We stayed in that same spot for over an hour and brought 8 slot reds in the ...

Re: Non Ethanol Gas in Albany, Ga
The new Woodalls on Jefferson has it as well. It's pretty easy to get your boat into it. The Shell that FRP mentioned does have it but it stays crowded and that pump on the end is pretty hard to get to depending on the size of your boat.

Re: Ecofina 6/7/14 with my family and a newbie.
Hit-n-Miss, I was down last weekend as well and brought a couple of first timers with me. I think I spoke with you on the radio about the slow to almost nonexistent trout bite because I remember you said you caught a short grouper. We put in Econfina around 7am and fished hard until 3:30 and managed ...

Re: Best place to go right now?
Thanks Carson. My family certainly enjoyed finding them this summer down there and they were getting thin on our last trip down almost a month ago. Wow, it's been a month, I do need to make the drive this weekend!
kirt, sorry for hijacking your post but if you can make the drive, I do recommend ...

Econfina Reports
Has anyone fished Econfina this past week with any success? I have two guys that have never fished down there with me and they are only off on Sunday so we are planning on hitting it Sunday morning. My question is has all this fresh water messed with the clarity and with the fish? Any help will be ...

Re: Lanark Landing - Memorial Day Weekend
Glad the trip went well. I spent a little time on DIR on Sunday. I think 50 yards is the farthest I was away from boats at any time. I also saw some folks anchored up swimming. You can't float a pinfish for 2 minutes without a shark eating it this time of year. Brave (or uninformed) folks.

Lanark Landing - Memorial Day Weekend
I put in at Lanark for the first time on Saturday morning and was very impressed with the friendliness and courtesy that was extended by Mike and the other two gentleman that were collecting the launch fees. I enjoyed talking with these guys and since it was my first launch here, I asked them about ...

Panama City Fishing
Hey, I'm headed down to PC on Sunday for a week with the family. I'm taking my bay boat with me and want to fish for reds, trout, flounder. I normally fish from the Econfina to Indian Pass but I have never fished around PC. I will be putting in at the marina by Capt. Anderson's. Any ideas of where I ...
