Havent been out in a while. Anybody know if there is still lots of bait around st marks?

do the tides affect fishing as much that much up the river?

Does anybody on here do any spearfishing? I've always wanted to get into it but am not sure how to go about doing that

We fished on the bayside of the island and were using gulps on jigheads with and without a cork for an hour or two with no luck. Decided to switch to glass minnows and started getting bit every cast. We were able to keep a few macks and a few trout

I'm going camping at St George this weekend and I've never fished there. Is there good wading on the bay side?

Do you eat the hybrids or stripers?

What time of year do you usually get them?

I was reading that lake talquin and lake seminole are both stocked with striped bass. Does anybody ever fish for them? How? Do you eat them? I have family in New York who catch stripers and tell me how fun they are to catch and how good they taste.

Im a wader so I'm assuming there won't be any tarpon that I can get to. Unless anyone knows any spots I might have a chance at? I would absolutely love to try to catch a tarpon.
