We launched at Pat Thomas State Park last week and fished Hammock creek and caught a number of good bass. That lake can get rough and dangerous real fast.
Good luck next time. Crappie should be biting soon if not already?

Friday flats fishing
I plan to take my Daughter fishing on the flats this Friday. Do you think this cooler weather will turn the trout off? Thanks!

Re: Emergency MMSI — how to test if GPS & radio are linked??
If you need to test to see if the DSC feature is working, do not test the red distress button as this will send out an illegal false alarm and cause an unnecessary rescue response! Instead, you may run a test call to the nationwide Coast Guard MMSI number, 003669999. Enter this number into your ...

I have read the operational manual until I'm blue in the face but having trouble with a few settings. Just wondering if anyone out there has this same until I may be able to pick you brain since mine isn't hitting on all cylinders about this unit. Would appreciate it. Thanks!

Re: Big Slabs
Tried it Friday but the wind was too much for my boat. When I came back to Pat Thomas landing a boat came in with his limit of slabs though. Maybe next time it will be my turn?

Re: Serious debris west of lighthouse
I was behind a boat running E. of the lighthouse last year when it went air born and did almost a 360 when the operator hit a submerged palm tree just under the water.
One bolt was holding the motor on, good thing they had their PFD's on.

Re: bent skeg
Thanks for your responses, sounds like porters is the way to go. I don't know how it was bent, it's my buddy's boat that he just bought. Buyer beware.
bent skeg
Any suggestion on how to straighten a bent skeg? I've looked on line and have a few ideas but not sure which one is the best method. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
