Wippoorwill last cast pub closing
Does anyone know if the rummer is true the the "Whip" is closing at the end of this month?

I ate and drank there a month ago at a bass tournament weigh in, and spoke with the bartender and some other patrons. They are in trouble with the State over some kitchen issues and septic issues. The amount of $$$ and time it is going to take to fix the situation is not going to allow them to keep operating while the repairs are made.
It is my understanding from those conversations that they are going to close for while, then re-open. Hopefully, that will be the case. I really enjoy that place every time I go out to Lake Talquin.

Yes, they are closing Aug. 1st for the reasons that Steve mentioned. Hope they are able to re-open!
