Thanks for the tips. Is there any particular ramp or marina I should put in at?

I was kicking around the idea of heading that way next weekend. Any tips on where to go? I usually go out of St. Marks when scalloping. Is there a floatilla like there is at St. Marks or am I on my own? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. Lots and lots of boats out there today. I agree on all counts (size of scallops, size of meat, and of course the idiots). We limited out in about 2 hrs. Got out to St. Marks Reef today. Caught a few ramoras, got into a couple small cobia, some black sea bass, and did pull 3-4 grunts in about 45 minutes. Good time had by all.

Figured as much. Thanks, though. Exactly what I'm looking for.

Tom, does the buoy come with the weight or is that a separate purchase?

Newbie question, but what do these reefs usually ? Just black seabass and small grunts or something/anything else? Or nothing?
