Scallop season opens next saturday...
....Did anyone get in the water and look around this weekend? I intended to but or trip was postponed.

I guess the reason a lot of people hate to see scallop season is because of all the drunken boaters out there. i get there early and leave earlier than they do. Usually avoiding most of them.

hey hit. I was in st marks this weekend and didnt really see many at all (saw a lot of marine patrol tho).. from what I heard from a friend, is he is seeing them in st joe but they are small.. (which from what i know is pretty normal this time of year.)

Scallops will be small and scarce until mid-July.
Been trying to tell you that.
FWC opened it early because of all the other closures trying to appease people.
They do very little that makes sense anyway.
