Re: Kind of in a quandry
With my two stepsons and new wife it was the short trips with excitment that hooked them. Long days seeking trout were no fun for them or me. Trying to find that bar that held reds did not either. Re: Kind of in a quandry
Definitely some things to think about. They LOVE the beach and the outdoors. Swimming, looking for shells etc... They are always wanting to go fishing. Kind of in a quandry
I pretty much abandoned saltwater fishing 3 or 4 years ago. My family just didn't enjoy it. Wife hated it, daughter would rather sleep. With that, I comitted myself to bass fishing. Mostly tournaments, some on the side just for fun. Fast forward to now. I have been divorced, remarried and now have 2...

9 Jun 2011 Lake Jackson report
Fished a little tournament this weekend. We had 12.06 and winner had a hair over 20. Flippin bite is on as well as the frog bite. If you can find the little patches of stick looking grass inside the grass is where to flip. Frogs where working in the sparse lilly pads closer to the boat runs

14' fiberglass rowboat
I bought a little row boat for pond fishing this spring. It needs some fiberglass attention. I am asking what I gave for it which is $50. I can text pics if anyone is intersted. Chris 229-444-1057

Re: Trailer Wheel Bearings/ Bearing Grease Seal
I know you got your parts already but wanted to throw out there in general about Timken bearings. They are American made. They make a bearing specifically for boat trailers. They are called Aquaspexx. I have about 40K miles on these bearings and seals and have not had a problem.

Re: Dallas Creek
It's about 8 miles. Problem is getting in there from the gulf. It's a good place to get stranded when the tide goes out.
