Re: Flats electronics

My son and I are using a Garmin 74DV. Good unit that we caught on sale from West Marine. It does everything that we want - water temp, depth and GPS. One thing I don't like is the transducer is the size of an adult tennis shoe and looks a bit odd on a 16" CS. Also, when you are running WOT ther...

Re: 2017 CCA STAR Tournament

Just registered for this one even though I realize that I prolly will not land a tagged redfish. Fells very kool to even think that I could get one and also that it helps out a worthwhile organization. Tight Lines

Nice work. Sounds like you had'em dialed in. I should probably fish ST. Mark's more since it is closer to my house but my son and wife prefer Econfina. Tight Lines! :D

Re: April fooled the trout at Ecofina.

Nice work H-n-M and others. Looks like everyone got something for the table. My wife sure does like the rock bass but we did not get any this time. We had a nice cook out Sunday with the small mess we got. We sure do enjoy the Econfina area. My son did his Eagle Scout project at the camp site on the...

Re: Who's fishing Ecofina for April fools ?

I forgot to mention that I ran into forum member Hit-n-Miss at JR's and at the ramp. Did not get to talk much other that a brief hello as everyone was ready to get with it. Hope they had a great day as well. Tight line everyone! :D

Re: Who's fishing Ecofina for April fools ?

Report from April Fools as follows: Got on the water at 0805hrs. Little chilly but made you feel alive. Tide was falling so we went gathered a few pins and went to a favorite creek mouth. We just use a brim buster and either bread balls or dead shrimp. They are usually more than willing and ready to...

Re: Who's fishing Ecofina for April fools ?

Long time lurker/rarely post here. I enjoy this reading this forum often. My son and I will be there Saturday as it seems that our full time jobs are getting in the way of these types of more important activities. Hopefully everyone will behave! :D

Re: Parkway Marine

Parkway (Quinn) did my repower in 2012 on a Carolina Skiff 16 DLX - 50hp Yammy 4 stroke. I have not had a minutes worth of engine troubles since. Also, just bought a new aluminum trailer a few weeks ago from these guys. Very nice trailer. They have always did me right the FIRST TIME. I have read a f...

Going to try the St. Marks in the morning with my son. Just got my boat out of the shop getting the motor serviced. Also, got a brand new aluminum trailer for Christmas as it was time to retire the other one. Been soaking the old one in salt water for 12 years. Oh, got a brand new Garmin 74DV and ha...
