Thats really gonna depend on a few things. Mainly on what you will be fishing for, if you are fishing bay or surf, and how much you want to spend. If you know already that you like to fish and plan on doing it on a regular basis I would recommend on spending some money and getting a decent set up ...

Went out last Wed. out of Carrabelle to try out some numbers that I had marked. Left the dock at about 8 am to 1 foot seas. First dive was actually a public # 40-45' shot two gags at 28" and 29", also saw a large lionfish ...

Its good to hear that someones been out diving! If you don't mind telling, how deep were you guys diving and what was the water temp? Ive stayed above lately since the vis has been not too great. thanks for the post!
