Dowawoo, the powerhead is a rebuilt, just had it done a few months ago.

It is a 1999, does not have a water separator. I believe my rpm is usually 4500 to 5000. I can't say I remember what they were since this problem, I'm guessing less.

How can I tell if the prop is spun? Not sure what that means...

I was deciding between the prodigy and capricorn as well. I decided to go with the prodigy and have had no problems so far.

I've had the Prodigy(same as capricorn) for a few months now and its a very good reel so far. Have not tried any others though.

Jigs with or without a CT. Usually I do better with a CT but last weekend they did not take it so i switched to a plain jig and they started biting. The glow and Elec. Chicken SWA are working best tipped with fishbites. Have tried topwater a few times with no results.

I bought the Prodigy (same thing as Capricorn with a couple more bb) about 2 months ago. I am very happy with it so far. Not as smooth as it was out of the box, but it is fine. A good reel for bass/trout so far.

I always go out of St. Marks with my 19' CC. I would like to try out of Panacea this weekend. Can anyone recommend a good boat ramp there? If I have to I don't mind paying a ramp fee. I appreciate any advice. Thanks.

i fish this area 75% of the time. Use live shrimp or a jig (saltwater assassin) 12-18 in. under a cajun thunder. Every once in a while give it a pop. In my opinion, topwater lures are the most exciting way to catch fish, Chugbugs and Mirrolure top dogs work good.

Hey everybody, i just registered. I'm looking for a good all around inshore combo (trout,reds, bass) in the $150 range. I was looking at the Penn spinfisher ss/ocean master im-7 combo, has anyone used this? What rod length should i get? Thanks for any suggestions!
