Hit the family pond for an hour tonight. Managed 5 bass, several blue gill and a gorgeous crappie. Bass caught on Texas rigged shim e sticks everything else on fly rod with glow popping spiders.

Don't know much about offshore... However, I caught them all winter long in the St. Marks River. The majority were small juveniles, but there were many over 15 inches that made for a great dinner.

I was using a glow panfish popper fly from Kevins.

Went out to the pond and caught some dinner. The weather was perfect and the bream and bass were hungry. Brought home a few bream for the fryer. Great night!

I would love to snag some pompano! Nothing tastes better. I will be happy as long as they catch something. I'm more interested in hookin them on fishing. Should be fun either way!

My sister is coming down from Virginia to stay at Sgi for the next week. I'm heading over this weekend and taking her young boys fishing for the first time. Can't wait! I'll post a report when I get back.

I caught mine Saturday in 24 feet of water trolling live minnows.
