We went to the Lighthouse landing about 7;30 to launch and head east, hoping the wind would be a little calmer: NOT. But we did get more familiar with Grey Mare and surrounding area. Cast our way toward shore and went up a creek to get out of the wind and see if any fish were around. Turned a corner ...

The coffee is still brewing east of the lighthouse. Went up a creek and the coffee was strong and black; no cream and I didn't taste it for sugar. Water temp was 83 and even in the creek the wind was pushing us around. Did catch supper. Hope this helps.
