How is the catfishing at Talquin doing this time of year?

Was there for about 3 hours and only caught one 5 pound bullhead. Don't recommend Piney z for catfish.

Didn't get to go today but will definitely be going tomorrow. Will be using Sony's Stink bait and see if we can get some cats out of there. Will report back.

We took a charter when we went to Hawk's Kay. Caught a lot but that is what is supposed to happen on a charter! The carter guys on the dock talked about the high concentration of sharks. Not sure I can help anymore then that. Caught a lot of Amberjack!

Would love to find some places I could drop a few traps in a creek or pond around Tally with out someone taking it. If anyone out there has property with a creek or pond I could set a few traps in I would gladly share some if i bagged some. I am a school teacher so I have passed all the background ...
