Thanks to all for the replies. We launched in the creek at Apalach. Cost $5 but well worth it. Had to go there every day for fuel anyhow. Docked in the bay. Boat sat in the mud at low tide. Had a good time. Now I've been there.. done that.

Ramp at St George?
I need to launch at St George area in a couple of weeks. The boat is a 24' Mako. Any tips on where I'll find a good ramp? I understand the tide can be a big factor. Any advice on that as well?

loran this weekend
My Loran lost it's signal near the K tower Friday. It never was able to re-aquire the signals. Did anyone else experience this? Did the stations quit operation or I may have a problem with my unit?
Bait
Last year or maybe the year before I could get cigar minnows in a plastic 5# bag instead of a box. The bagged ones were flash frozen and were not stuck together in a big wad like the boxed ones. Does anyone know where I can get the bagged ones close to St Marks?
