Sikes Cut Ramp

Can anybody give me any information on the Sikes Cut ramp that is in the Plantation? I have seen boats launched there, but didn't pay to much attention. Will be staying on the plantation in about 3 weeks and wondered if I could launch there or do I need to go somewhere else.

Real Men don't give a DA.. about what Real Men are supposed to do. Only Real Men Wannabees worry about trival things like that.

Anything else is no more than an insurance policy that will more than likely reimburse you after you pay for the repairs. From some of the horror stories I have heard, they are Insurance policies that most likley will NOT reimburse you. It seems they will use any excuse or fine print to get out of ...

Actually it is legal to put a treble hook in a live/dead natural bait when fishing for Spanish. Try thr following for the summarised regs. http://marinefisheries.org/Regs_Web_English.pdf When you scroll down to Spanish, you will notice there is NO dark red "T" by Spanish. When you scroll t...

Thats simple.. Cancel Navigation, clear plot trail
Yep it is real simple, but you know how to use a computer. Most people who fish have a real problem using a GPS, let alone how to do things like that.

Very nice pics, but a trick I learned sometime back was to turn on the flash even in Sunlight. It will fill in the shadows and make a much better picture.

Banjo Minnow

The first place I ever saw the corkscrew rig was on the Banjo Minnow adds. In fact, that was the main point of what gave the Banjo its' action.

I agree that a two way split is wrong, but IMHO the proper split is 3 ways. The owner of the boat kicked in his share by furnishing the boat.

However, from your post, if I felt that way, the boat owner would have known before I left that further invites would not be accepted :(

Yep, you can catch all the 29-30" reds you want, BUT you had better not keep any.

I am going back to my original recommendation. I can get out to 70-80 yards with bait using a 6600, Sealine X 11 foot rod and 3 ounces of lead. When I pick up a 113H, it will birdnest. Don't even have to cast :D That thing has absolutely no cast controls and unless you add some magnets or something,...

I think that he needs to take that 113H back and get something that can be eaisly controled. I have seen pretty good casters that could not control that Penn with out some modifications. Try an Abu Garcia 6600 C5. Leave both white brakes on and play with the mag brakes. That will eliminate the backl...

That might be a problem. When the ladies are with him he catches fish. When they are not with him he does not. Now they might be wondering what he is really doing when he goes fishing without them??
