What does it mean when a tourney lists the species as "mystery fish"?

Got to the flats around 9:30 Sunday morning. Water temp - 58. A little on the choppy side. A few trout on live shrimp. Two 18-20" Spanish Mackerel using large Cajun Thunder and DOA red/pink shrimp. Both mac's were caught when I wasn't working the thunder but simply using as a float with the DOA...

Schooners in Panama City Beach holds the Lobsterfest each September. Those interested can check out info on the 2003 event here....

Any tips and info on Trout fishing on the flats/river would be greatly appreciated. Especially the importance of tides.
