I have 4 stella's a 5000,8000,10000,and 20000 and there the smoothest spinning reels you can buy. Do you need a stella to catch fish? NO. They are however the most trouble free reels I own. The 5k is my inshore reel and the others see duty jigging and popping Yellowfin tuna.

Glad you got to chatch some trout the bay has been murky and fresh for some time now. I am hoping it will get back to normal by satuday. Was all the boats on the right side of the cut if you are going offshore?

Thanks Tom, I have the current updates, however i do not have the current blue charts v7.0. Mine is 5.0 any way to get version 7.0 without a unlock?

What is the difference between mapsource GDB and MPS :smt017 Also which should i be useing for my gps map76s. :o And How can I open it up? It axe me what program to use? I tell it mapsource but nuthin happens? :smt013

That design looks a lot like my river hawk (ghenoo copy) but with a little tlc and a stronger transom. :thumbup:

A lot of numbers are converted mathematically from the old loran units. I have had the same problem.
