Karst,
I would take the car stereo and put it back in your car. The main danger is going to be salt in the air. Even though you only have the face exposed the stereo still has vents that are going to circulate the air. Given the high humidity when you're out and the heat produced by the stereo it ...

Saw one.
Chalk,
Two weeks ago we saw one jump at the #6 marker leaving the fort. It was gorgeous. We didn't target them as we were rigged for grouper, but they're there, not sure how big the numbers are. This was on Sunday two weekends ago. Just an FYI.

TC,
No Offense was taken, I was just playing' with you, especially since after a year of reading your posts silently I see that you're one that someone can tease. Trust me, last year I was looking at a 26' with a nice Yamaha 200 4 stroke that was two years old on the lot and he hadn't gotten rid ...

Today was an INCREDIBLE day for fishing. We went out to the FSU Marine Biology Lab and did some really nice hooking up for being landlocked. Total we caught 6 gorgeous Trout. The first catch of the day was a nice 20" Trout caught by yours truly.

Does this come via e-mail or regular mail the website didn't say. Anyway I'm going to try and come to the meeting tonight ...

Forgive my Ignorance.
What is the NFGFC club and what are the meetings about? I'm curious about this since I've now seen about 5 posts about it.

This was out off of 98 at the FSU Marine Lab facilities right at the outlet to the creek. He was out in the middle of the mini-bay and we didn't have the "guts" to say anything because it would have had to be a yell, and who knows what else he had in his hull, I like my body without hulls. What we ...

I'd like to catch limit, someday, maybe. I agree with everything said in the article, but what bums me is the guy who netted around 50 trout on 2/6/05 with his cast net, while 10 shore anglers were tossing back some damned good looking trout. After that guy was done, there was nothing left to catch ...

Braid or Mono
I've got 7 rods and all have some kind of braided on it. My Penn 4500 has 30lb braided PP on it with about 20 yards of 8lb mono backing. I use mono or floro leaders on it because of the lack of abrasiveness braided can take. My 4 deep rods have between 90# - 200# braided on about 20 feet of 60# mono ...

I hear you on the wanting to go out. I went shore fishing last Sunday and we had 7 trout hookups between the two of us. A family was close by they had a total of 10 hook ups. It felt so bad to be so good and let the guys back in the water. I've caught trout on live shrimp slowly bounced along the ...
