I really appreciate everyones help with my question, I really like the "nature" aspect of the St Marks area, and we really-really do enjoy the lack of jetskis, and a zillion people...

grouper fishing
Is there anywhere that you can find grouper without going so far out (from) St. Marks river? Or is this just something I have to get used to? I have just moved my boat from Destin where we are used to going 10-12 miles for 140 ft water....
