Re: ST. Marks 7-1 AND 7-2

Atticus - I just finished one of the best pieces of grilled fish I have ever eaten. Boneless fillet cut into about a 10 oz steak portion (dark red meat removed). I softened some butter (real butter none of the fake mess), rubbed it all over the steak and the sprinkled it with some Tony's and a littl...

ST. Marks 7-1 AND 7-2

7-1 Had a friend in town who had never been scalloping, so we did that on 7-1. My report matches everyone elses. Scallops everywhere, no problem with a limit in short order. We went east and were within 200 yards of Black Rock (beyond the crowd). On the water at 11:00 off at 1:30. 7-2 This is when t...

Re: Transom Repair??

I'll speak up and put in a shameless plug here. R.J. has gone to an ENORMOUS amount of trouble to try to make this a first class event. Being an "industry person" I can assure you that if you have a farm pond of any size, then you can learn something form this event that will allow you to ...

I use a Nikon D50 with a 18-70 and a 70-300 lense. That is mostly right off the card. I did a little cropping and sharpening, but no color change.

9/8 Ochlocknee - 9/9 St. Marks

We had a family trip to the Ochlocknee River this weekend. I managed to sneak off for a couple of hours Saturday morning. We fished up Bear Creek (S. of State Park). The tide was at slack low around 8:30 and there wasn't much of anything happening. I beat the banks with a gold spoon and finally swit...

Better keep an eye on "dean". Forecast say it will be a cat 4 when it enters the gulf.
