Wanted: Merc Opti Air Pump

I need a air pump/compressor for a 98' 150 hp opti. If anyone can point me in a good direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Merc Parts online wants a ridiculous amount of money for it...

Thanks!

Flyrod? Redfish? I can't keep the line out of the trees in the river by the house. I quit using a fly and went to a peanut. Deadly on them squirrels!!!

Baker- The run is about 85 miles to where we will start fishing. We may move around quite a bit, so I would say you should have at least 300 miles of range to be safe. The 2-2.5 mpg, is that under ideal conditions or overall average? Figure half that economy coming back if the weather turns ...

Middle Grounds trip

We have about 7 boats <tentatively> making a trip to the middle grounds the last weekend in April leaving from Cedar Key. If anyone is interested in tagging along, the more the merrier. I don't know of any open spaces on any boat going, but I will check and see. There will be some of the ...

I use braid on one of my trolling outfits for grouper. It lets the lure dive deeper with less line out. I use mono on the other mainly to keep them separated. Distractions to the Captain on my boat has made this very necessary. References to Mario Andretti on a road course have been thrown around ...

Hooray for Tin Can! What a guy!

I work for a cellular company and we use Hawker batteries in the cell sites for back up. I believe they manufacture the Odyssey line. They seem to hold up well considering when the power goes out, they get drained to nothing and bounce back time after ...

Buy a block of parafin wax. Take the springs apart and rub the wax on all surfaces of the leaves. Pretend it's a surf board. Put them back together and install. I just heard about this right before I replaced my axels. Seems to be working better than if I did nothing. Long term, I believe (like ...

I have a few SHimanos and they are good reels. When they get to where they are not worth the price, they will have to lower it. Free market over here will decide that. I have yet to see much out of Japan that will last or perform as well as my 20 year old Penn Squidder. If Penn had put some 4.5-5:1 ...

I have a 200 qt SSI. I think I could get into it, might have to if fuel keeps going up and a closed grouper season in Nov-Dec. What a great idea! I think I will drag it out to the lake this weekend and give it a go.
