Re: My Sinsere Appreciation

Doggone CS. Just read this post - way too many nice words said that I don't deserve. I hope it works out for you. I'm just glad the key was still in the mower.

Re: Cobia Fishing

LR, I have no business giving any advice on cobia fishing (arguably not qualified to comment on any species), so I'll share what I've received talking to folks around Keaton Beach area. Spoke to some folks who have caught some cobes around markers - one over 40 pounds. I've also heard they may be at...

Cobia Fishing

Thinking about taking a week off in Mar/Apr timeframe and renting a condo for a week in Panama City Beach or surrounding area and see if I can't chase down a cobia. Is Mar or Apr better for targeting cobia? Also, are spanish and kings around that early in the year? Thanks in advance.

Re: Gypsy Rose Takes Another AKC Master Hunter Pass

Congrats. Not a lot of curly coats running in HTs , when they do well, it tends to stand out. Very nice work by dog and trainer/handler.

Re: 2003 Suzuki DF140 Four Stroke for sale

Is there a big difference in HP between the 140 and 150 or are you just looking for a 4- stroke Merc? Is the 140 a 6 cyl or 4 cyl? I had a 40 2-stroke for about 12 years with not one problem and it got lots of use.

Re: Home Air Conditioning Question

Thanks all for your feedback. Learned more about heating/cooling in last two days than I have in my adult time of owning a house - though I have to admit I knew little before I posted.

Re: Home Air Conditioning Question

I would recommend a heat pump with a 95% efficiency gas furnace. Adding returns 12X12 in each bedroom. I lieu of a heat load calculation on your home I would recommend 1 ton cooling per 500-700 square feet. That would be a 3 1/2 to 4 ton Heat Pump. I would also recommend a 15 SEER system or better....
