Re: Wading Alligator Point 5/1/06

and the best: I DIDN'T Catch ONE Catfish! Don't know if I am the only one but.... I declared war on catfish 2 years ago and have used MANY for chum since then.... My thought - if there are fewer trash fish eating the baitfish, shrimp, crabs, etc. there will be more for the fish we want to catch.......

Chalk's avatar

It has taken me a while to adjust to Chalk's ever changing avatar. At first if confused me- I had to look at the name to figure out who it was. Some were disturbing- the monkey and the Chalkanator.... Some were just bad- the Deer Art thing Now I look forward to his new face. I wonder what he will do...

I need to remember to keep my camera in the boat!

My dad had that exact trolling motor when I was a kid.
Any idea how old that thing is?

whats the real story- is it on your outrigger or in the woods?

Lake Jackson

Got out of the office about 3:30 and didn't have a house to show tonight. Needed to clear the cobwebs out of the brain. Convinced the wife to sit on the front of the boat while I fished. Put in at the 27 landing- one deep hole that was enough to get the boat launched- but it is still VERY shallow. R...

City Fishing

I have been working a lot and have not been able to get down to the coast. I'm so desperate that today I fished the holding pond behind the Tallahassee Mall. I fished there as a kid and drive by every day. This morning I put a rod in the truck just in case I could break away. I had about a half an h...

Sand bar at the Bird rack

Anyone know how low the tide needs to be for the spoil bars at the bird rack to be exposed?

I just happen on them on low tides- but are they exposed when Jerry's tide chart is at 1 or 0 or -1?

The wife likes to go out there and I get to fish while she watches the sun set.
