Re: Piney Z 6/3/13
Wow, nice catch. How did you catch the turtles, if you don't mind?
We dropped the boat in at 3pm to an overcast and slightly rainy at times day. First we fished the cypress stands for a few hours and caught several hand size brim, a 1.5lb Yellow bullhead, a peanut bass and 2 15lb softshell ...

What a mess of fish!
where is the best area (roughly, if you don't mind) for crappie fishing at this moment at Lake Talquin?

Steve Stinson wrote:Reeves Landing is where I went. They let most all of the water out of the lake. There were only folks sitting on buckets fishing around the edge, and one jon boat with a trolling motor only.

water level in Lake Iamonia
Haven't been fishing for a while. Went to lake miccosukee last Sat. and found the ramp is not launch-able due to the low water. How is Lake Iamonia? Any one fished there recently? Thanks.

I have an old tracker that needs some aluminum welding. Can any of you kindly tell me where I can get this done around Tallahassee? Thanks a lot.

Re: buy a boat without a title?
If it's a Florida registered boat, I would pass on it! A Georgia boat and all you need is a bill of sale "no title in Ga."
PS: If you're bound and determined to buy it and it's a FL. boat :hammer: You will need to take the registration numbers to the tax collection office, they ...

Re: miccosukee bluegill?
They are out there, you just have to find them. Circkets under a small cork. Fish 3-4 days either side of a full or new moon and they will be on bed. ease around until you smell'um and then start fish'n.

Re: miccosukee bluegill?
What are you running? I run a mud motor, but the area I was catching them in earlier in the week was accessible with an outboard...2 other boats (both with outboards) were fishing the same pocket. As long as you stick to the trail until you get back there, you shouldn't have any problems.
