Staying at Spring Warrior but know the areas pretty good, just haven’t been down in about 4 years
We usually use soft and hard jerk baits plus the standard jigs with and without popping corks….

was just looking for options....and I was hoping for some input from others that know the area better.....I fish with a 22' Bay boat, can it enter and leave Spring Warrior on all tides???

well...
I am "assuming" that there hasn't been a change with the Keaton Beach Marina and/or its boat lift....damn shame when such a resource goes unused, but it is what it is....Plan on being down next week, so I reckon we will be staying in Perry and just make the drive out to the public boat ramp ...

its trial and error...the more you use it.....the more /better your gonna get at using your cooker for different uses.....for me...when I do low and slow, I pack mine slap full, fire it off, bring it up to temp...once done just choke it down

already spoke to half hitch....said his shrimp sells out by mid day and hasnt't had fiddlers for some time and didnt expect any soon....Salty bass and pat's both have fiddlers and live shrimp and didnt seem "annoyed" by someone new to the area asking questions....already committed to this weekend so ...

I paid $250 per month to keep my camper there. Not sure what the spots right at the docks went for I was told the most expensive was $350 but will not swear by that. Its funny that the campground was mentioned...mad me think back to our last trips to Keaton.....campers lined up from the edge of the canal, all the way to the cottages...this time I was able to point out the cottages and motel rooms to my son, telling him "thats where we usually stay".....and now ...

up until this trip I have ALWAYS stayed at the Marina...at either one of the cottages or small rooms.....but to go from 69.00 per nite for the small room, to 109.00 and no discounts for children 12 or under anymore, no free boat slip with room rental anymore......69.00 turns into 125.00 plus tax ...
