survivors bait and tackle is a good place to do that and the prices are very good compared to others. there are actually 2 bait shops on the island but i have only used survivors. after you cross the bridge go to the second gas station and turn right on the street before it. it will be right behind the gas station on the left. if you ask the guys in there they will usually tell you where you should fish if there are not a lot of people listening. :D

the other place is fishermans headquarters, i always get my shrimp there because they are friendlier. the guy at survivors has always been a real pr*ck to me, but i guess i would be grumpy too if i had to sit there all day and sell stuff to people who were getting to go fishing while i worked.

I have found the people at Fishermans Headquarters to be very friendly and helpful.

I expected to pay a premium for bait and tackle on the Island, but was pleasantly suprised.
