Reel Lube?

Post by fishful_thinkin »

Whats the best reel lube? I need to go through a couple of reels and was going to pick some up but I didn't want to put heavy lube that would hurt my casting distance. Also any tips would be great. I have been through a couple of my reels and kinda know what I am doing but there is always room to learn new tricks.

Thanks Guys

3 in 1 = easy to get and cheap

Rocket Fuel - Yellow Label is much better

Rocket Fuel - Tournament grade will amaze you, but needs to be mixed with a drop of 3 in 1 or Rocket Fuel Red label cause it's breaks down to quick, it's meant for casting tournaments.

I use the same oil I use on AC motors. It works fine on them 6 months at a time. It works just as good on my reels and lasts a long time too.
