I hav'nt been on the forum for quit some time :cry: due to major back surgery. Glad I can finnally sit up long enough to browse. Am looking foward to wettin a hook again soon as the doc says I can, :lick: keepin my fingers crossed. How long do the groups stay shallow,cant do much beatin any more :(

Good afternoon CATCH 22. Good to have ya sit'n with us again :thumbup: Hope the recovery goes better than expected :D As far as Group in close, I'm not an expert but I believe you can expect at least another 30 days perhaps more. Some of the length of stay may depend on how warm the spring is but I think Tom would say based on some of his dives that there are some that are always in close.
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

One of my biggest Grouper was caught in 30 foot of water in August :thumbup: Welcome back and hope the recovery is swift and lasting :beer: :beer:

We catch Grouper within 20 miles of shore pretty well all summer long. Like all fishies, they have their good and bad days.

And you gotta find that good bottom and ledges....
