File size question

Post by sundown »

Is there a limit to the size of pictures you can post ? I got some I'd like to share that are over a meg in size but when I resize them I lose a lot of the detail..Just wanted to make sure before I posted them that it wouldn't hog up too much space...

Try posting them, and see what happens. Can't hurt anything.

To accommodate most users, reduce your image resolution to accommodate users who maintain 800x600 resolution on their monitors. The smaller size keeps the image within the borders of most folks monitors... If the image size is too large, users end up having to scroll up and down and sideways to see your picture(s). Does that make any sense?? :-?

Just post the link "without the [img]" and let folks just click on the link to see the big ones  You can size em down and post up the smaller ones, with the option to click a link for the bigger ones also :-D
