A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
I always heard, "when the wind is from the east...the fish bite the least. Thats one of the many things I remember about fishing. I usually go when I can.
I meant to add earlier, anyone at econfina on saturday, if you wanna drink a beer late in the afternoon, nice to put a face to a screen name. I'll be the guy with a bud light and limit of trout. I'm staying right there at the ramp. I drive a black suv with a 1520 Key West.

ak man, Me and my Son was in Atlanta back in December and met a couple of fellows in the check out line at the new Bass pro shops I think it's in Macon. They seen some jigs in my basket and asked when I was going trout fishing, as we continued on talking I mentioned Econfina and he said small world he was making a trip there down around this time. By chance, was it you I met there?
Be careful should you encounter any of the "troubled village
people of Ankyfaenna."
The somewhat endangered species can normally be observed
in the campground behind the store. Note: they are not the ones
in the massive motorhomes with northern tags.
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
Naw, Trent, wasn't me. I did ride by the new BPS on the way to Savannah a couple weeks ago though, it's hard to ride by and not stop. I've had some interesting encounters with the "villagers" over the years.
