Lanark 3/25/07

Post by devans850 »

Well it was Morgan's birthday on Sunday and she wanted to go fishin. So I said heck yeah let's go. We put in at Lanark around 8am and there was a little breeze, but not too bad. Headed East near the reef and started fishin. The water temp was 66.7 when we got there by the way. I had Morgan rigged with a jig and cajun thunder and I was fishin a pearl fluke. After a few minutes Morgan was yelling she got one, but it was short. Noticed the birds started really diving around us and the bite was finally on. We caught several small trout and a few nice ones. The wind just about stopped totally and we ran over to dog island. There we got the rest of the limit of trout and headed home for Morgan's BD party. All in all a great day and you can't ask for more, when your daughter wants to go fishing on her BD :-D I did foget to mention the water got up to 69 before we left
