St. Marks 3/30

I wish I could say I killed them today but that would be a lie. Skipped out on work at lunch and hit the water around 12:30. Started out on the west flats looking for trout. It took awhile to get anything on. Finally I caught a few but they were few and far between and only up to about 20". I tried a variety of approaches but nothing turned them on. Wind blew all day and I finally called it quits about 3:30. Hopefully it will be better on Sunday. Hope others had luck.. The west flats were just about empty. It probably got good right as I left.

That's what my old lady said too. The worst day of fishing is still better than the best day at work.

Amen  and that definitely didn't sound like the worst day of fishing.
