Any opinions on ETECs?

Redbelly, next time you are on the water take an additional 54 lbs with you and set it next to/or on the motor on the transom.  That will tell you the drafting difference.  Don't know the setup of your boat but if you could place a bucket or cooler next to the transom it will help you decide. 6.5 gallons of water is about 54 lbs in a cooler would work well. or about 66 cans of beer.

E-Tec Okay!
If I had to replace the engine tomorrow, I'de definately go with another E-Tec, but more power!
