Have u seen a rod and reel out of the ecofina river to the south ...we lost one sat to a big ole gar thought we had it in the net but was to big and flopped out and w/ the rod and we were in like 7 foot of water and using pinfish on the bottom w/ a jig head and this big ole gar got it ...
But we fished for 3 days and caught
Blues
trout
(lady fish)
cobia
sea bass
3 break offs dont know what they were one sat on the bottom and broke us off and the other ran like crazy and broke off under the boat and the one came right to the surface by the boat i watched it and it sliced my line w/ out even bending my rod tip
