Do you use stranded or solid wire for your leaders? If you use solid wire, do you use the crimp sleaves like stranded or do you just wrap directly to the hook or swivel? All I can find in Wally World now is the solid wire.

For what type of fish?

Flatline for kings mainly. I use 100# mono for bottom fishing.

I use 43 lb sevenstrand because I can tie the 30 second king rig with it. I hate tying haywire twists and I hate crimps.

I use both hard wire (CALCUTTA) and strand. I prefer the hard wire though. Especially for king rigs. There is a special tool for making a haywire twist. It sure makes it easy on the fingers. I know Kevin's sporting goods in Tallahassee sells them. The hard wire is easy to rig up quickly too. Every one has their own preference though.
