Whats the thought of the pros about this weekend since the cold front is coming through on Thursday? Sure would like to go on Saturday around the Keaton Beach area.

I am planning on going out of either Keaton or Spring Warrior Friday. I am hoping the wind will lay down enough to take my 5 y.o. son, he's antsy about getting back out there after catching a red a couple weeks ago. I'll be the one waiting this week with his fingers crossed.

For what it's worth, we launched at Keaton on Monday (2nd), and had decent luck a few hundred yards off the channel (last and second last markers) just to the north in patchy grass heading out toward that first 'bird rack". We boated one Spanish, one Blue and about a few small trout. We then went 7 miles south .. near a bird rack that is about equadistant from Keaton and Steinhatchee. We avoided highly stained water and fished in semi-stained water. Got nearly 2 limits of trout but none over 19 inches. Came back to the original spot (near KB channel) to freeze our 10th trout. Granted, this was pre cold front so the advice may be worth less than 2 cents .. but that's my 2 cents.
