Tagged along with a couple of friends to a bass pond. I guess I went along just to take the pictures. Not sure how many we caught, but it was quite a few. Caught 'em on trick worms.
My day went like this: Fertilized a bass pond, rode a colt we bought this past winter, cleaned out gutters on the main house, moved furniture and a rug, burned 100 acres, then went bass fishing
And a fella I know that squanders tax payer money fishing on the clock, drives too fast on the Autobahn(sp), and spends way too much time on the internet at work.

I don't know how long it took for some of that but I can guess how the 100ac. burn went: " Hey, if we're going to get in any fishing today we gotta head fire this thing and let-er-rip while we blow the leaves out of the gutters. Here BD, you take the fire pot and this new colt we got and get the fire going and will meet you at the pond." I'm sure there was enough BS while fishing to consider it fertilized.
Sounds like a way to spend the day to me I just had a guy offer to let me go fish a few of his private ponds that he said are loaded with bass. Looking at this post makes me think that I need to take a break from the flats this weekend and go check 'em out

Barhopr, you're probably right on. And he wonders why his boss won't give him a raise.

Anybody that can burn woods off a 2yo colt deserves a raise.
Ya have to work a full day to get a full day's pay. If ya do an exceptional job, then ya MIGHT get a raise. But not always. I put in 10 hour days, and my boss wont even talk to me about a raise.
