Keaton Beach Scallops?

Post by Hooked »

I guess it's obvious that I am really wanting to go scalloping. I posted a message yesterday asking about scallops at Econfina. Got one reply saying that the water is really really stained. Does anyone have a feel for the water clarity at Keaton Beach and are there any scallops to speak of? I am taking some relatives that have never been before and trying to make sure that it's not going to be a waste of time.
Thanks, Hooked

The scallops are in Keaton big time. You should limit in about an hour.
Fish till it hurts.
