Shell Pt.

Post by rocket »

I redfish and trout fish out of Aucilla, and Ecofina alot, but am thinking of trying some place new. I've got a 17' tunnel hull, and thought I would take it to Shell Pt. I've put in there to go offshore in the past, but never tried to redfish there. Anybody got any suggestions?

the ramp was reopened last week. over the weekend someone was charging $10 to use the ramp. but we put in during the week and loaded Sunday afternoon and did not get charged. i do not know if they were just charging for the holiday weekend or what.

I was down a few weeks ago, and I saw boats launching. There for I figured it was reopened. I could be wrong.

You could put in at Bottoms Road for free not a five star ramp, but it is concrete. Channel runs straight off the ramp towards the channel marker. Some shallow stuff over there

Put in there yesterday. If you go there, watch the tides. Yesterday evening's low (-0.4) squeezed my buddy an I pretty well in his 14' aluminum tunnel hull.
