No offense intended, but after looking at the missing paint on the skeg/prop... I would want to be assured that Porters guard had not been installed after a significant encounter with a very stable object (underwater) Any previous prop shaft problems, etc.?
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
