Interesting. I wish it had about 6" sides so you throw a fish in the floor. I would like to see how it reacts in a 1 foot to 18" chop.

First of all, thanks for all of your comments. I normally don't come on forums because I am the inventor/owner and I don't like getting accused of spaming. I'm not here for advertising. I'm doing well without the need to spam fishing forum sights. However, I do feel the need to clear up a few things. First, I didn't make Flatstalker as a competitior to kayaks or canoes or any other paddle craft. I simply was tired of wade fishing so I built a big surfboard that I could fish on. It is now patented with a unique hull technology that is only found on Flatstalker...it has suction cups all over the bottom. I weigh 180 and I can stand with both feet on the side, jump up and down and it will not flip over. The first day in the water after I finished the first one in my garage, I could not fish becuase of all the people that stopped me and wanted a "tryout". That is the only reason I started making them. Not becuase I thought I could make some money but because you(fishermen) asked me to make some for sale...so I did. Second, once you learn to use the craft, wind and chop and waves are not a factor at all because it is almost impossible to turn over in any condidtions.....well almost. It's very very hard. The reason it's calm in most of the pics is because I don't typically fish in 20-30 mph wind....even in my big flats boat. When it's windy, I go where it's calm like back lakes, creeks and rivers where I can fish out of the wind....as I do in my Tarpon 16 kayak. I personally don't fish if the wind is over 20mph. Also, since the Flatstalker has a tunnel and a custom stainless motor mount, it works extremely well with a 30lb trolling motor. Battery goes inside the console and there is plenty of room for ice or dry storage. I also put my fish/ducks behind the seat when traveling or in an ice chest that I strap on the front. The console has additional storage for tackle in the drawer located in front. This craft is very very easy to stand on comfortably for people up to 300 lbs. I made the Flatstalker as an alternative to wade fishing and specifically for sighting redfish from ON TOP of the console. I almost always stalk fish from on top of the console...using the Stiffy Pole/Paddle to pole around. I have many pics if interested...the ones on the web are being changed this week. I have poled over 2 miles into a 30 mph wind in just 30 min...and I wasn't tired. Polling requires some practice but it's pretty darn easy. Plus, if you have a trolling motor, you can drift/pole/paddle downwind while fishing and turn the motor on when it's time to go to the house. You can lock the motor in the staight position and steer with the paddle and or just by draggin the tip of your rod in the water will turn it. We also slaughter ducks on it. OD Green works well but amazingly, so does the blue...there are no blue aligators so ducks are not scared by the blue. Anyway, that's it. Just wanted to clear up some things. Thanks for talking about Flatstalker, even if you don't like it. We have all bought things we thought would work that didn't and vise versa. Best to all and great fishing/hunting too.
