Go to Lanark on a negative tide. Idle out the canal, turn left and hammer down. About 3/4 of a mile east of the canal you'll see a white bouy. Run to the south of the bouy. You'll find it.

"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
The problem was, ya can't see the bouy in the dark.
Sometimes you make excellent points, however, what in the world were you doing running the inshore channel at night on a negative low tide (in a new boat no less) without a spotlight ?
