Got on the water about noon. Looking for trout. fished in 3 to 4 feet and not too much happening. Move on out to 5 and 6 feet and found the fish. Caught them all day, tried the CT first and that just wasn't the pattern so I switch over to soft jerk baits and that was what they wanted. All in all I caught about 15 trout from 10" up to 19" around 10 Ladyfish and several blues. Not a bad day. What I like to do with a live Ladyfish is throw him out back on a 20 to 25 Lbs class rod and free line. After about 15 to 20 minutes these guys show up
That's when the fun starts (if you have about twenty minutes) the steel leader from his mouth to the line is about 14 inches.
Here's another shot. It's hard to hold the rod and get a shot at the same time.
I'v been think about anchoring up away from a lot of people and try to chum up some sharks. I don't want to keep any, just catch and release think it'd be fun.
