Border Security

Post by Soccerdad »

I am beginning to get real concerned about all of these "Spanish" that people keep talking about in our (US OF A) Gulf waters. Seems like every post talks about not only an enormous population increase among these (seemingly) undocumented visitors, but also the havoc they are beginning to cause .. cut lines, lost plugs, lead on the ocean floor. I'm also concerned that the Spanish could make the trout, reds, tarpon and ling look bad as they seem to be working much harder than many of the local population. As with many other areas of life I am uncertain about the overall effect on the economy .. could be detrimental to my wallet as I lose leaders, hooks, heads and grubs. But I think it might be good for the bait shops. Do we need to call Homeland Security? ;-)
If there's no soccer (or fishing) in heaven - I'm not going!

You’ve reached middle age when all you exercise is caution.
