Econfina Friday 4-27

Post by Dubble Trubble »

Me and my bride put Dubble Trubble in around 10 am, went out expecting it to be windy, but it was actually just a nice breeze. Proceeded to drift for about 3 hours nonstop and caught 7 keeper trout. The wind kept us moving right along the coastline. Ate lunch around 1:30, and went back to start drift again. THEN the wind came. :o It blew up to about 20 knots and by 3pm the bite seemed to have shut down.

But all in all, it was a good day on the water, and we came home with 8 trout and 1 rock bass for the table.

Not a bad day! The wind has sucked all week. My buddy just got back yesterday and complained about the wind everyday. He got fed up with it and came back 3 days early... :smt013
